Grandpa Phil has always wanted to ride a Segway Scooter. They are those cool looking two wheel human transport device thingees.
At the Ventura Marina, they are available for rent by the hour. So, Grandpa, thought it would be fun for him and the boys to do that. So we arrived at the Marina at 5:55 pm, only to discover that they shut the store at 6:00. Bummer.

Answer: Take them to the beach!
It worked! Within a few minutes... there disappointment was replaced with joy. It's funny how being at the beach can do that to you.
